PhD student, computer science, at University of Utah.

I grew up in San Ramon, California, the "east bay" within the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Now married with three children. 🙃

• (2020-2022) Software Engineer, Algorithms, at FamilySearch focused on their recommendation system over historical records.
• (2017-2019) MS in computer science at Brigham Young University focused on information retrieval and machine learning.
  Thesis: Age-Suitability Prediction for Literature Using Deep Neural Networks
• (2012, 2016, respectively) About two years professionally developing Android and iOS apps.
• (2013-2015) A 2-year, full-time proselyting and service mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Quezon City, Philippines.
• (2008-2012) BS in computer science at Sonoma State University.
